SEO may seem easy, but there are a lot of mistakes that you can make that can ruin your efforts. Here are a few examples.
Humdrum Content. If you still keep on posting unoriginal and stale information that people already know about, then you are getting absolutely nowhere. Content needs to be new, fresh, and engaging. All content that you post or upload should hold significant value to your targeted audience; otherwise, it will be regarded as spam by Google.
Excessive Links. Pages with too many links will be flagged by Google. Instead of filling up an entire page with numerous links, take one or two links and build an interesting and new content around them. Use your content to actually build a connection with your audience, and provide appropriate links that are useful to them.
Low-Quality Content. Content used to sacrifice quality by ignoring obvious grammatical errors just to make way for keyword insertion. Subpar content, which didn’t undergo any proofing, or those that don’t hold any value at all are a big NO.
Google is determined to only provide their users with high-quality results, so you should do the same. If you’re having a hard time creating original and optimized content, then leave it to SEO experts. Content that offer little value are a waste of time and effort, so start things right and reap the reward of ranking high in search engine results pages.
